    What this tool does

Splitting creates new PDFs from the pages of the one you added. You can burst a document into single pages, or cut out exactly the sections you want and leave the rest behind.

When the result is more than one file, everything is packed into a ZIP so you get it in a single download.

    How to split a PDF

    1. Add your PDF. The page count appears once the file has been read.
    2. Choose One file per page to burst the whole document, or Custom page ranges to pick sections.
    3. For ranges, type something like 1-3, 5, 8-10. Each range becomes its own PDF.
    4. Press Split PDF and save the file or the ZIP archive.

    Writing page ranges

    • 4 — just page four, on its own.
    • 1-10 — the first ten pages as one PDF.
    • 1-3, 8-10 — two separate PDFs, one for each range.
    • Page numbers follow the PDF itself, not the numbers printed on the page.

    Common questions

Can I extract a single page?

Yes. Choose custom ranges and type the page number on its own, for example 7.

What if I enter a page that does not exist?

The tool tells you the selection is not valid and nothing is produced. Fix the numbers and try again.

Why do I get a ZIP file?

Because a split usually produces several PDFs. One range means one PDF and no ZIP.

    Does splitting reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied exactly as they are.

Can I remove pages instead of extracting them?

Yes, indirectly: extract the ranges you want to keep, then merge them back into one file.
